Before embarking on a Private Makeup Lesson, I provide my clients with a thought-provoking list of questions aimed at guiding them towards a deeper understanding of their objectives and self-perception. Where do they encounter challenges? What unique strengths can they leverage? Which recurring shopping habits do they seek to transform? What beauty-related issues do they wish to overcome? How do they envision others perceiving their appearance?

Most importantly, it’s crucial to reflect on personal boundaries: What are you prepared to do to achieve your desired look, and what are you unwilling to compromise on? Sometimes, the things we cling to most tightly are the very ones we need to let go of, though this realization often comes in due time.

To delve even further into self-discovery and refinement, consider additional questions such as:

  • What emotions do you wish your makeup look to evoke?
  • How does your makeup routine align with your overall lifestyle and values?
  • Are there any specific makeup techniques or trends you’ve been curious about exploring?
  • In what ways do you hope your makeup routine will enhance your self-confidence and inner sense of beauty?

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY:

Thank You for booking with F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry. We acknowledge “life happens” (sickness, accident, 3rd party cancellation or date/timeline change, weather) and appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled. Due to seasonality, time-slot sensitivity and working by appointment-only, we carry a mutually accountable cancellation/reschedule policy: Customer may cancel appointment at any time however, payments are nonrefundable/nontransferable, as a specific time-slot has been reserved and F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry did not make other reservations or accept other clients for this specific date and time. For this reason, in the event of cancellation/reschedule by client, all monies will be retained by F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry to offset its loss of business. If a booking is cancelled/rescheduled by F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry, complete payment will be refunded, and a “service equivalent” credit will be issued to customer.

*Moving an appointment to a different time-slot is a reschedule. Reschedules are cancellations of the original reservation and therefore, require new payment for a new appointment time-slot.
