It’s natural to have a mixed relationship with magnified mirrors. These tools tend to allow us to see and manage up close what we and others cannot notice from a regular distance.

We do not need to asses ourselves in a magnified mirror. Unless eyesight requires magnification, use traditional mirrors for studying the face. Utilize magnified mirrors to accomplish brief tasks such as tweezing and blending.

We’re the sum of our parts and our true beauty is not the reflection of a portioned out feature as seen in a magnifying mirror.
