6th Annual Beauty Egg Hunt

At F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry, we have an unwavering commitment to the safety of our customers and clients. As we deal with the threat of the COVID-19 virus, we are putting extra measures in place to help ensure public health and wellness.We are closely monitoring the situation and following the direction of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the local health authorities. To that end, we are taking extra precautions and applying them to our annual Beauty Egg Hunt.
Thank you for your donation to Look Good Feel Better- an organization providing beauty techniques to people with cancer to help them manage appliance-related side effects of treatment. Your charitable giving to this valuable program will allow the organization to continue to support cancer patients undergoing treatment.


ANNUAL BEAUTY EGG HUNT CHANGES:
In an attempt to reduce introduction of the virus into new communities and slow the spread of infection, we are removing the traditional Easter Egg Hunt method and changing how and when the beauty products are collected.


To practice social distancing and adhere to the executive order of group event cancellations and retail closures, we will offer each registrant 10 beauty products randomly drawn from eggs that had been readied for the hunt. These will be coordinated for pick up at our mutual convenience from April 6th 2020 until June 1st 2020.


Those registered will be included in the drawing for the Golden Egg on Monday, April 6th at 6:00pm to honor the original time and date of The 6th Annual Beauty Egg Hunt for a Cause. The winner and the special surprise will be announced as soon as the drawing takes place!

On cue, participants will hunt for extra special eggs containing popular beauty products! We have created a fun festive event to benefit the philanthropic organization: Look Good Feel Better.

HOW WILL YOU FIT PRODUCTS INSIDE THE EGGS?

We’ve thought about the logistics! We have eggs of all sizes (large and tiny) to house all dimensions of beauty products.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?

Bring your friends, your ticket, egg hunting shoes, and a fun basket or bag (trash bag recommended-there are some huge eggs involved and we’ve seen some fall out of baskets in past hunts)! We will provide the rest.

WHAT WILL BE IN THE GOLDEN EGG?

WHAT ABOUT REGISTRATION?

Advance online registration is required on the event ticket link. All registration will close at a headcount of 100 OR at 6pm on Sunday, April 5th 2020 (24 hours before event). There will be no on-site registration on the day of the event. BUT, there will be mandatory on-site sign-in to pick up your pass before the event! 

Register online & bring your ticket to the welcome table at the Carson Center entrance around 5:30pm to receive your participation pass. We start at 6pm SHARP! This event goes quick! 

WHAT IF I REGISTER BUT END UP NOT BEING ABLE TO ATTEND?

This event has raised over $10,000 since its infancy! We will gladly accept your support for the Look Good Feel Better program and include it in the large donation to the organization. To donate, just purchase a ticket, and in the notes, mention you will not be able to attend. We will reserve two eggs with product for you that you can redeem within 7 days after event! *This must be communicated in advance (at least 24 hours before event).

WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT?

Ages 10 and up. If you have a child with you, please note- they will need to be registered as well. Children under age 10 not permitted on field.

WHAT ABOUT WEATHER?

The event will take place, rain or shine! In the event of dangerous outdoor weather (lightning), we will draw eggs from a bag, directly across the street at F.A.C.E Makeup Artistry (125 Kentucky Avenue).

HOW MANY BEAUTY PRODUCTS CAN I EXPECT TO FIND?

There will be at least 1,000 eggs on the field. (possible more depending on product donations). The number of beauty products acquired depends on:
*Your speed (wear running shoes!)
*How big of a bag/basket you bring (deep bags that won’t let large eggs fall out of is highly recommended)
*If you find eggs with more than one beauty product inside.
*Past hunters’ beauty product accumulation has ranged from 2-20 products. This year, we are limiting the registration headcount to 100 attendees (an average of 10 products per person).

I AM A BEAUTY SERVICE PROVIDER OR RETAILER AND WANT TO CONTRIBUTE. HOW DO I DONATE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS?

Please email Erin@FaceMakeupArtistryLLC.com to determine if your desired donation qualifies and to coordinate donation drop-offs. In the email include: Item Description and Quantity. We will provide you with a donation form if it qualifies.

Cancellation/Late Show Policy: Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, your donation will still go to an amazing cause.

Every bride wants to look and feel stunning on the most important day of her life. Five Minute Face: Makeup Class

MONDAY, JUNE 3RD | 6:30PM-7:30PM

With today’s hectic schedules, the last thing we want to do is wake up extra early to put on a full face of makeup. When it comes to simple beauty, a makeup application can be achieved in just 5 minutes! Join us in learning about time-saving products, tools and techniques, how to keep a makeup bag minimal, and “on-the-go” options. Attendees receive a goodie bag with complimentary products relative to the demonstration as well as a class recap (in both text and video format) emailed to them post-demonstration. This will help guests re-create the looks at home on their own!

WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?

– Someone who is always “on the go”.

– A “makeup minimalist” (only owns a few products).

– Someone who doesnt typically wear makeup, but needs a few tips for a rare occasion.

CLASS MISSION:

– Demonstrate the “bones” of a makeup application: The key products that can be multi-purpose, have long shelf lives, and take little time to apply.

– Construct the ideal “makeup minimalist” beauty bag. Toss expired and unused items, generate the smallest collection with the largest pay-off, and how to prioritize tools.

– Simplify and prioritize techniques for initial application as well as “on-the-go” touch ups.

*This is a Demonstration Class (not hands-on), where the looks are performed live of a face model. Attendants are welcome and encouraged to bring a notepad and pen to take valuable notes during the class.
