Your Face Is Not a Report Card

LISTEN TO BLOG POST

We’ve been taught to read our faces like grades — lines as evidence of stress, blemishes as mistakes, dark circles as failures. But the truth is, your face is not a performance review. It is not a billboard for your worth.

Body neutrality for the face means stepping out of the cycle of harsh judgment and unrealistic praise. Some days you might love your reflection; other days you might not. Both are fine — because the point isn’t to always feel beautiful, but to respect and care for your face regardless.

When you wash it at night, honor the skin that has sheltered you from every wind and sun. When you apply makeup, play, highlight, and experiment. Skipping makeup is a choice.

Your face is your home, not your scorecard. Care for it because it belongs to you.
