I Wish I Could Change Something About My Appearance

LISTEN TO BLOG POST

You look in the mirror and think, I wish my [insert feature here] were different. Welcome to the club. Everyone’s a member. When you wish for something to change, you have four options:

1. Change Your Mind

Decide it doesn’t matter. The thing you think is a problem? Maybe it’s not. Maybe you’ve just been trained to see it that way. The easiest “fix” is to decide you don’t need one. Mindset shift, done.

2. Change the Thing

Want to fix it? Fix it. Makeup, skincare, treatments, surgery—whatever aligns with your values, budget and resources. If you don’t like it and you can change it, why not?

3. Don’t Change the Thing, Manage the Wish

Maybe it’s not fixable, or maybe you’re just not ready to change it. That’s fine. Learn how to work with it. Style around it. Draw attention elsewhere. Accept the wish without letting it own you.

4. Don’t Change the Thing or the Wish

Some people choose to keep both—the feature and the longing for it to be different. It fuels them, makes them sharper, more driven. Sometimes dissatisfaction is just another form of passion.

No right or wrong answers. Just options. Pick one and move forward.
