It’s officially been four full years since I stepped away from social media, both personally and professionally.
That’s 1,460 days without scrolling, posting, or performing. Four cycles of seasons, four years of change, four chapters of running a business and living a life without the constant lens of online feedback.
How did this year feel compared to the first three? What’s shifted? What’s stayed the same?
And most importantly, am I coming back, or am I still all-in on this off-grid experiment?
I hope you’ll take the time to watch the full video, but if you’re short on time, here are some key reflections from year four:
- It no longer feels like I’m “missing” anything and that’s a great sensation.
- Slowness is a strategy, not a setback.
- Relationships feel deeper, not because I share more, but because I listen more.
- My creativity is quieter—but more honest.
- Marketing without algorithms still works. It just asks for more intention and trust.
- I no longer frame my days in captions. And somehow, my memories are richer for it.
- Disconnection has become integration. I no longer feel “off” social media. I just feel on my own path.
This is not a post to convince you to log off or judge anyone who stays online. It’s simply a moment to mark what it’s been like to live differently and what happens when the need to be seen no longer outruns the desire to be present.
Thanks for being part of this journey, wherever you follow from!
