I snapped this moment alongside my friend and fellow artist Dana Walls of Meraki House of Style while volunteering for Look Good, Feel Better, and it’s one I won’t forget.
This program isn’t just about makeup and hair—it’s about restoring confidence, dignity, and a sense of community for women undergoing cancer treatment. And what’s even more powerful? It’s completely free.

What moved me most was the room itself—women supporting women, laughing, tearing up, sharing stories, and offering tips with genuine care. The empathy was palpable.
Now, after a long pause, in-person workshops have returned, held at Mercy Health in the Resource Room of the Cancer Center. If you are currently undergoing cancer treatment, you’re warmly invited to join a free Look Good, Feel Better workshop—designed just for you. These sessions offer beauty tips, confidence boosts, and connection with others on a similar path.
And if someone you love is in treatment, please help us spread the word—this program is completely free and could mean the world to them.
Because beauty isn’t just what we apply—it’s what we share.
