Makeup isn’t just a product game—it’s a movement. A flick of a brush, a press of a sponge, the sweep of liner—these aren’t random motions. They’re gestures, deliberate and full of meaning. They write the story before the world ever hears it.

Think about it. When you dab concealer under your eyes, it’s not just about covering dark circles. It’s about showing up, looking awake, telling the world, I’ve got this. The way you apply lipstick—carefully tracing the edges or swiping on a bold red without a second thought—lays down the script of your mood. Even the tilt of your head while perfecting a winged liner? That’s your hands, crafting the opening act.

But the story doesn’t end there. Wearing the finished look? That’s your voice. It’s the part of you that steps forward and says, Here I am. The application is the process, the writing, but wearing the makeup is how you speak—confident, expressive, unapologetically yourself.

And yet, most of us don’t even notice the gestures. We rush through the motions, focused on the outcome, forgetting that the process itself—the writing—is where the magic happens. Those gestures carry weight. They reflect how you feel about yourself, how you prepare for the day, and how you armor up before stepping into the world.

At F.A.C.E., we know it’s not just about what you’re doing. It’s about how you’re doing it. That’s why our private makeup lessons are different. It’s not just about learning a technique or picking the right colors. It’s about slowing down enough to notice the language of your movements—and how they’re shaping your story before it’s told.

The next time you swipe on blush or smudge a bit of shadow, pause for a moment. Ask yourself: What story are my hands writing? What voice am I about to share? Because makeup isn’t just a look. It’s a language, a dialogue between your hands and your heart.

And if you’re ready to refine your gestures and amplify your voice? Let’s write and speak it together.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

Thank you for booking with F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry. We recognize that unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, accidents, third-party cancellations, timeline changes, and weather) may necessitate the cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. Due to the seasonality and appointment-only nature of our business, we have established the following policy to ensure mutual accountability:

  • Client Cancellations/Reschedules: Clients may cancel their appointments at any time. However, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. This policy is in place because a specific time-slot has been reserved exclusively for you, during which F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry has declined other bookings to accommodate your appointment. Consequently, if a client cancels or reschedules, all payments will be retained to offset the loss of business.
  • F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry Cancellations/Reschedules: If F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry cancels or reschedules an appointment, the client will receive a full refund and a “service equivalent” credit.
  • Definition of Reschedule: Changing an appointment to a different time-slot constitutes a reschedule. Rescheduling is treated as a cancellation of the original appointment, requiring a new payment for the new time-slot.

This policy ensures clarity and fairness for both parties, maintaining the integrity and professionalism of our services.
