What is one of the biggest challenges that you’ve had to overcome in your professional career? My decision to leave social media three years ago, both personally and professionally. Despite its prominence in beauty industry marketing, I prioritized authenticity and well-being over visibility and growth. This choice allowed me to focus on deepening client relationships without the distraction of social media content creation. Clients appreciated the more personalized experience, leading to organic growth through word-of-mouth referrals and local networking. This shift aligned with my values, fostering a supportive community and emphasizing genuine connections.
What is your best piece of business advice that you’ve ever received? “You are traffic”. The idea is rooted in the understanding that we are not separate from the systems we participate in; we are active contributors to them. In the context of traffic, it’s common to think of “traffic” as something that happens to us, a frustrating external force. However, by recognizing that we are part of that traffic, we acknowledge our role in creating and perpetuating it. This shift in perspective encourages a sense of responsibility and agency. It prompts us to consider how our choices and behaviors influence the collective experience, whether it’s on the road, in social dynamics, or within various systems we navigate daily.
What career achievement makes you most proud? Achieving a harmonious integration of personal and professional elements within F.A.C.E. stands as my most significant career achievement. By purifying its essence and forging a symbiotic relationship, I’ve cultivated a balanced synergy that fuels my personal development and professional accomplishments.
