It’s been a little over a month since I’ve started the expansion process of my makeup business into Kentucky. NYC has provided amazing opportunities for me (& still continues to), but I know a small town can too (despite a lot of people’s predictions). I’ve already experienced a huge impact in need/want for makeup consultations in such a small amount of time.
My first local feature is in the PADUCAH LIFE Magazine (Mar/Apr) Issue. I’d say this process is the most difficult & exciting task I’ve taken on ever, which I predicted. I have no regrets with taking on this challenge though. I wake up every morning excited to work.
The Paducah community here is unreal too (in a positive way)! Word-of-mouth goes a long way & so many people are connected & willing to help.
