Shared Beauty: A Mother/Daughter Makeup Workshop
What happens when you stop doing your own makeup—and let someone who loves you take the lead?
In this intimate, guided workshop at F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry, mothers and daughters will apply makeup on one another, creating space to slow down, connect, and see each other in a new way.
This class isn’t about getting it “right.” It’s about noticing, interpreting, and appreciating lineage.

Through a relaxed, free-flowing format with gentle coaching, you’ll explore simple, everyday makeup techniques. As you do each other’s makeup, you’ll draw from a pool of thoughtful questions—guiding conversation and creating space to get to know each other in a new way. More importantly, you’ll experience what it means to be seen through someone else’s eyes. There’s something unexpectedly revealing about both doing and receiving makeup from someone who knows you well—something that can’t quite be accessed any other way.
The experience concludes with a shared moment: a mirror photo of your finished looks, captured together in your vintage compacts—one for each of you to select and take home.

Lover’s Eye: A Galentine’s Beauty + Art Night

Grab your friends and come play!
Begin your evening at F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry, where mirrors, pigment, and possibility set the tone. This Galentine’s night is about curiosity, color, and connection, not romance. Inspired by the historic Lover’s Eye tradition—intimate portraits of a single eye—we’re reimagining it as a modern beauty and art experience rooted in play, self-expression, and storytelling.
What to Expect
Start at F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry, where you’ll experiment freely with eye makeup—liner, shimmer, texture, bold color, jewels—treating your eye as a tiny canvas. There’s no right look, only exploration!
Alongside the makeup, you’ll write a one-sentence micro-poem, inspired by your mood, your look, or whatever wants to surface in the moment. Think of it as a little love note to yourself.
From there, you’ll take a short walk to Imagine Images, where your eye is professionally photographed as a modern Lover’s Eye portrait—beautiful, intimate, and entirely your own.
Your portrait will be printed and paired with your poem, then framed in a tiny vintage-style frame. Imagine Images Photo will contact you when your finished piece is ready for pickup—a little reminder of the fun, the play, and the memories you made.
